Are you an experienced Plant Fitter looking to join a leading hire business? Do you enjoy working in the field, diagnosing faults and carrying out servicing and repairs on customer equipment?

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fitter looking to work on larger plant equipment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Due to continued growth, we’re recruiting for a Workshop Plant Fitter based in Swindon.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a range of plant machinery.
• Find and fix faults to keep equipment safe and working properly.
• Carry out inspections and complete basic maintenance records.
• Work on your own or as part of a team to get jobs done on time.
• Prepare equipment for hire, sale or return to customers.
• Support colleagues and assist with workshop tasks as required.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent (preferred).
• NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance will also be considered (salary will reflect qualification level).
• Previous experience servicing and repairing plant machinery.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage your workload.
