We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join their team.


Role Overview

The Warehouse Operative plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse. This includes receiving goods, storing stock safely, picking and packing orders accurately, and supporting the overall operation to maintain a clean, safe, and productive environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and process incoming deliveries.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Store products safely in designated locations, following company guidelines.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet trucks, forklifts—if trained/licensed).
  • Conduct stock checks and support inventory control activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of warehouse areas.
  • Follow all health & safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Report any damaged or missing goods to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Assist in continuous improvement activities to enhance warehouse efficiency.


Skills & Requirements

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., for stock systems or handheld scanners).
  • Forklift licence (desirable but not mandatory).
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
