Job description
Our client, is one of the largest independent fencing, timber, and builders’ merchants in the UK. Currently they are seeking a Class 2 Driver to join their well established team.

Key Accountabilities:

· Drive in accordance with the law, ensuring safety and courtesy.

· Comply with current legislation.

· Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading.

· Cultivate and maintain exceptional standards of customer service.

· Build rapport with customers, displaying politeness and courtesy.

· Proactively contribute to sales growth by seeking out potential opportunities.

· Be vigilant in preventing loss or damage of products and vehicles.

· Report any Health & Safety issues to the Line Manager immediately.

We would love to meet someone with:

· A valid HGV Class 2 License.

· A valid Hiab License (essential).

· A positive and friendly attitude.

· Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and methodical approach.

· Ability to work under pressure, be self-motivated, and adaptable.

· Good interpersonal skills, confidence, and the ability to approach customers.

· Excellent time management skills.

· A desire to develop knowledge of the company, its products, and the necessary elements for success in this business.

· A professional approach, promoting and adhering to the company’s culture and values.
