Technical Service Engineer – South Region

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Service Engineer to join our growing team covering South of the UK .

This is a field-based role where you’ll service and repair forklift trucks while also supporting other engineers with technical advice over the phone. If you’re an experienced engineer who enjoys solving problems and helping others, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks.
• Diagnose faults on diesel, LPG and electric trucks.
• Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Attend customer breakdowns and complete on-site repairs.
• Work on hydraulics, brakes, steering, drive systems and electrical faults.
• Complete service reports using a mobile device.
• Provide technical support to Field Service Engineers over the phone.
• Help less experienced engineers diagnose and resolve faults.
• Deliver excellent customer service.

What We’re Looking For:

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience working on forklifts, plant, HGV, agricultural, construction or similar equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to support other engineers.
