Builders Merchant – New Southgate, London

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Trade Counter Salesperson to join a busy and well-established builders merchant in New Southgate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong heavyside product knowledge who enjoys working in a customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve trade and retail customers at the counter and over the phone
• Offer advice and guidance on a range of heavyside building materials
• Process orders, quotations, and customer enquiries accurately
• Work closely with warehouse and yard teams to fulfil orders
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organised counter area

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working on a trade counter (essential)
• Solid knowledge of heavyside building materials
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Reliable, organised, and sales-minded
