Responsibilities:

  • Inspect vacant and tenanted properties, reporting issues with photos and meter readings.
  • Use a smartphone app to complete high-quality inspections on time.
  • Identify and report critical issues promptly and professionally.
  • Wear company uniform, PPE, and carry necessary tools (e.g., torch, drill, stock).
  • Ensure compliance with SIA regulations and renew certifications on time.
  • Maintain company van’s cleanliness, image, and safe operation.
  • Report any property issues (internal and external) to the relevant teams.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers, keeping them informed.
  • Deliver a high-standard service, meeting company quality expectations.
  • Manage stock for remedial actions and follow lone worker safety guidelines.
  • Work as part of a team, covering absences and contributing to meetings.
  • Be flexible, proactive, and manage your own workload efficiently.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed within the role scope.

What we are looking for:

  • SIA Licence – Advantageous (company will pay for if not already obtained)
  • Must be available to work On call – Available to work overtime
  • Previous experience working on site based roles
  • Good descriptive reporting skills
  • Strong Communication skills and highly presentable
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

What you will be responsible for:

The Property Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections on both vacant and tenanted properties to ensure they are secure, well-maintained, and compliant with company standards. This role involves identifying and reporting any issues found on-site, supported by photographic evidence and meter readings. Using a smartphone application, the inspector ensures all reports are completed accurately and on time.
