We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Workshop / Mobile Fitter to join a busy and growing Plant Hire operation based in Bradford. This is a varied role, split between workshop-based duties and attending site to support customers, ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working with a wide range of plant machinery.

The Role

You will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing a diverse fleet of plant equipment, ensuring all machinery is maintained to the highest standards and in line with manufacturer guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of plant equipment
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs both in the workshop and on-site
• Ensuring all servicing is completed in line with manufacturer schedules
• Working safely and efficiently in a busy environment
• Supporting the workshop team while also working independently on mobile jobs
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in plant maintenance and repair
• NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and a proactive, can-do attitude
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• Honest, reliable, and flexible approach to work
• Strong communication skills and professional manner

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Own tools required to carry out the role
• Full UK driving licence (essential for mobile work)
