Hearing Aid Dispenser - Gloucester

We are currently recruiting for a Hearing Aid Dispenser in the Gloucester area.

The main purpose of the role is to:

-To provide a professional, competent and expert hearing care service to customers

-To meet, grow and exceed sales targets for hearing aid products, accessories and services

- Represent the client positively at all times, to your customers, team and the wider community.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales & Marketing

To meet, grow and exceed sales targets for hearing aid products, accessories and services

Develop and implement a local marketing plan line with Company Strategy

To establish and maintain strong links within the profession both locally and nationally through community based marketing.

Identify and approach local partnerships to maximise the commercial opportunities within the existing company database

To be continually up to date with competitors and other manufactures' activity and product knowledge.



Carry out assessment of hearing and selection of appropriate hearing aid products based on customer’s individual lifestyle and specific needs

Ensure appointments offered are to customers’ needs either a branch visit or domiciliary

Follow the Company expectations on follow up and aftercare service

Promote the use of Refer a Friend (RAF) at every opportunity

Where possible to effectively repair in house hearing instruments and ancillary devices.


Ensure successful implementation of all Company policies, procedures and standards

Complete hearing assessments to BSA guidelines

Maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction

Ensure compliance of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements

Communicate, lead and engage BCOs (where applicable) with Company/branch targets and strategy.

Support, coach and mentor members of branch staff (where required) and new dispensers


Maintain current registration with HCPC and ensure compliance with the HCPC standards

To continue to update clinical skills through on-going training and undergo new training

Attend all Company training and meetings to improve skills and knowledge


Additional Duties

Training and Induction

To develop the induction programme from a dispenser point of view developing VDT, Customer Service, SOPs and finance processes for all incoming dispensers. To be part of the induction programme by shadowing

To assist tele-appointing staff in developing customer services skills as required.

Top spend a minimum of two days per month on training and induction tasks
