Project Engineer – Heavy Cranes

£30,000 - £40,000 plus Overtime and Pool Vechicle

The role of the Project Engineer is to develop and produce lifting and transport solutions in line with the client and companies requirements.

As a Project Engineer, you will be required to liaise with clients, undertake site visits to design & engineer the safest and most efficient solution in accordance with the project requirements and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Commercial team with technical solutions to secure new or further work
  • Attend project meetings with the project team and clients.
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
  • Co-operate and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other project members to provide assistance and technical support.
  • Attend and conduct site meetings and site surveys

What we need

  • BSc degree or Masters in Engineering or relevant field
  • Experience of site work
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualisation software, e.g. AutoCAD
  • Works well independently, as well as in a team
  • 5+ years of experience working as a Project Engineer or relevant engineering field
