Our client, a law firm with nearly 100 years’ experience of successfully representing clients of injury and mistreatment, we have the privilege of working with and supporting the Trade Union Movement and the people they represent. 

Due to continued growth we are looking for an experienced Senior Lawyer to drive the highly successful industrial disease team in the Manchester Office.  You will have the opportunity to deliver full and effective methods of supervision of case work relating to industrial cases, including Hand Arm Vibration (HAVS), Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL), Work Related Upper Limb Disorders (WRULD), Work Related Stress and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).  You will also take responsibility for best practice in marketing, client care and ensuring case management standards are implemented and upheld throughout the team. 

As a Senior Lawyer you will work towards achieving the required operational and financial performance, contributing to the success of the Branch whilst you actively drive, develop and supervise a team.  You will be an admitted solicitor or FILEX with significant post qualification experience and will be operating as a Court Grade A.  You will possess strong supervisory skills with excellent client care and interpersonal skills, coupled with an enthusiasm to train and share experiences. 

Dealing with union clients and colleagues, as well as at other marketing events requires you to have good understanding of the relevant statutory and common law legal practice and procedures together with the ability to be able to clearly communicate this knowledge to your audience.
