Peripatetic Manager (Task Force Team Member) – Nottingham

£45,000 (Negotiable) + Commission (Structure TBC)

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen in the Nottingham area with a newly thriving business in the Care Sector. We are working in partnership with this firm who are looking for a Peripatetic Manager to join their team. They offer care home compliance consultation and action planning, and own healthcare operation applications that aids the compliance of healthcare facilities. 

The successful candidate must have minimum of 4 years proven track record of successful care home management, or experience in consulting and/or inspections. A nursing qualification is preferred, however other care professions are welcomed.

Key Job Responsibilities –

  • Researching and analysing quantitative and qualitative information in detail, to form an initial judgment of priorities for service improvement.
  • To actively and consistently monitor Nucleus data inputs, outcomes and reports. Responding accordingly to verify evidence, adapt action plans and direct progress. 
  • Planning, coordinating and conducting ‘mock inspections,’ service evaluation visits and remote assessments. Keeping appropriate records and writing insightful and accurate evidence reports.     
  • Simulating CQC’s Key Lines of Enquiry and risk-based methodology, before using expert judgement about the most appropriate action to be taken to ensure the care service remains compliant.
  • To implement and drive forward tailor-made action plans; where once complete, offer ongoing maintenance support of good/outstanding care quality and compliance with regulations.

Working Hours – 

Monday – Friday (9am – 5pm) – these hours will be flexible during site visits/audits.

Qualifications –

  • Education to degree level is desirable. RMN – RGN – OT - Social Worker
  • QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services (or equivalent) desirable.
  • Good understanding of risk management and health and safety management.
  • Self-motivated, organised and flexible.
  • Hold current driving licence and have own vehicle.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of all relevant legislation and CQC regulations.
  • A background in managing care homes or inspecting.
